Windows Xp Safe Mode F8 Not Working


I turned on the computer after installing the hardware and then my computer made strange noises so I shut it down. The latter will fix your system by restoring it to exactly how it was when it left the factory - all your own files and any new software that you installed If this is the case, just restart your computer and try pressing F8 again.

  • I think I did this a couple of days ago, but since I have mentors now, let me run through it again.
  • If you wish to increase the colors click the down arrow on the colors box and select the amount of colors you wish to use.
  • Make any changes you need to make and then restart the computer.
  • The only device in my device manager that has a yellow exclamation point next to it is "Bluetooth Pan Network Adapter" under "Network Adapters".

The only way I can get it to boot, to make changes, is to use Safe Mode.
