Brand new to the site and already have a problem. If you have installed a new program lately, there is a possibility that it changed your sound settings if you had to restart your computer. I normally don't post on forums but bcuz of this thread , I am now able to work MIC perfectly (on red connector) along with the 5.1 configuration....Not to mention on If all of this is OK then we'll have to dig deeper. Check This Out the only thing I am missing still that kinda sucks is the system info that came with the original cd such as the speaker test, bass boost, and EQ.

The sound you heard was from your internal modem speaker, not your speakers. Enabling or not 'Permit Skype to automatically adjust mixer settings' didn't seem to matter. Start a new discussion instead. If it's not Creative's drivers, there's something else that keeps it TOUCHY and INSTABLE.
