Meanwhile, I had to pay 20 Euros to these people because they re-installed the OSX software to try to solve this audio-problem "and only the hardware is guaranteed". Do you see RedBall error icon(s) in the right panel timestamped at the exact time the problem occurred? That will put everything, include OSX and applications, back just as it was at the time of any backup you select, in one process.
